A full case study, current dietary intake, lifestyle influences, and other contributing factors are recorded prior to completing the second step of our test. Nutrition & Supplementation Program designFollowing completion of our nutritional analysis pre-screen & live blood analysis + bio-impedance testing consultation, a detailed report is completed indicating sample meal plan recommendations as well as supplementary requirements based on test results. cfa regularly accesses dietary intake verses training demands to ensure goal objectives are achieved, i.e. weight loss, boosted energy, improved immune system, peak conditioning fueling for competition & recovery.
(Day 2/Step-2) Physiological testing. 2 x VO2 Max assessments – Min of 3 days apart. • VO2 Max Test which includes the following;
SRM Bike, Running treadmill Full Skinfold and anthropometric profile (Sum of 7) Height, Body Mass Resting Heart Rate (HR) Blood Pressure (BP). Exercising HR and lactates Lactate thresholds Gas Analysis Rates of Perceived Exertion (RPE) SRM Software file emailed to you for use. Running / Cycling efficiency Full report including recommendations for training and influencing factors associated with your test results and specific sport. Ongoing support call from cfa 4 weeks following your test assessment. Anaerobic Peak power (Cycle Ergometer) • Swimming Lactate Threshold can be performed pending pool availability as 1 of the 2 VO2 Max tests, excluding either the bike or treadmil assessment included in the price. (Day 3/Step3) Completion of second V02 Max test.
Complete second V02 Max test (miniumum of two days apart from the first test date).
(step4) Six week program design. Using the raw data and testing indicators, Matt will then design from scratch your 6-week training program in your chosen sport. This program will include ALL discliplines and specific technical sessions associated with your chosen sport, as well as incorporating cfa's specific aerobic and endurance based training sessions. This 6-week program will be designed to accelerate your physiological conditioning and adaptation to your sport, competition, and personal goals set.
Kick starting – How does the test roll out? Once a payment has been submitted via our Pay-pal gateway for this service, a cfa coach will contact you within 24hrs to discuss booking test dates with Matt and will cover all influencing factors associated with undertaking this physiological assessment & 6-week training plan.
NB: All individuals undertaking this service will be required to seek written permission from their Doctor to participate in a full V02 Max test. This documentation must be forwarded to cfa prior to the set testing date. You will not be permitted to commence the test without this documentation. Any test dates booked will incur a full charge being issued for that service.
NB: Each participant receives the dietary record forms, complete analysis, sample meal plan, and a 60-minute consultation by a qualified Naturopath who specialises in live blood analysis + bio-impedance testing.
Testing Locations
All testing for live blood analysis and bio-impedance testing is completed at 46 Carrington Road, Castle Hill, NSW, All Physiological tests, i.e. V02 Max etc are conduct at the Academy of Sport, Narrabeen, Sydney, Australia. Full directions and maps will be emailed to you prior to attending your test.
On the day of each test, Matt Cheesman, head coach & Director of cfa, will meet you on site and introduce you to his qualified testing team and lab environment. Matt will remain with you for the entire testing procedure of each test, and will be available to present his recommendations following the test assessment - related to you and your sport. Once testing is completed, you will receive a full cfa written test assessment report which will be emailed to you within five working days of completing ALL assessment tests. Matt will then begin designing your 6-week training plan and will call you to discuss all influencing factors and specific designed sessions, scheduled for you to undertake and complete during your training. A face-to-face meeting will again then take place with Matt to present and explain in detail your NEW 6-week training program or incorporated training program. This meeting will serve a final opportunity to address with Matt any specific concerns you may have prior to commencing training. A PDF.doc of your training program will follow to you via email. A "touch-base-call" will be directed to you approximately 4-weeks into your training to get an up-to-date snapshot of how your progressing physically, mentally and technically.
Our CFA testing & training package will present you with a reference point in which we can compare and assess progress at any stage of your training, i.e. 6-12 months time. It will also be useful in identifying areas of strength and areas of weakness your training and competition.
